Mrs. Purwo is our new Third Grade teacher and we are so happy to welcome her to SJNCS and to Lancaster! She says she has fallen in love with the community, the local ice cream spots and the cows! She loves teaching at the elementary school level and wouldn’t change that for anything. She is so excited when her students recognize how much they’ve improved and are proud of themselves for it. A self-described geek for sci-fi & fantasy, her favorite movie is “all of the Star Wars films.” In her spare time, Mrs. Purwo enjoys playing games with her family and trying new recipes. Maybe that is why her quote to live by is “Anyone can cook!” The best advice she ever received was from her husband who told her, “You have everything you need. You have so many reasons to be thankful.” It reminds her to be thankful everyday because she believes she really does have everything she needs and God has always been faithful and provided for her.
