Mrs. Austin wanted to become a teacher after she witnessed the positive impact her fifth grade teacher had on her. She decided she wanted to pay it forward and impact as many lives as she could for the better. The greatest joy she receives from teaching is the moment something "clicks" for a student and they feel such a sense of accomplishment. She finds great joy in students taking flight and not needing her by their side for support any longer. In her free time, you will find Mrs. Austin enjoying time with her daughter (Abby), her dog (Bella), and her husband. The motto that she tries to remember is that everything will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright, it’s not yet the end.”
