Mr. Hynum’s greatest joy comes from being involved with the social development of all the students. He originally wanted to become a teacher to impart the joy of musical expression to his students. After working as a band teacher for Lancaster Catholic, he became a school counselor and now teaches a different form of expression of emotion. He enjoys his role of providing support to his students in their social/emotional transition to young adulthood. In his free time, Mr. Hynum enjoys gardening and teaching music. The quote that he strives to live by is “Live every day like it’s eighth grade homeroom.”
