Mrs. Lorenz has always wanted to be a teacher. As a girl she loved school and enjoyed learning new things. She became a teacher so she could share her love of learning with her students, not only teaching them a subject but also helping to form them into positive, faith filled and independent thinkers - and, or course, to bring them closer to Christ and the Church. She enjoys seeing her students finally understand a concept or when something clicks in their mind. Mrs. Lorenz loves seeing students empowered when they realize they can do anything they set their minds to, and when they realize that with God in their life and hard work, anything is possible. Her favorite saint is St. Catherine Laboure and the best advice she ever received is from her brother. He told her to "Keep it Real" meaning to be yourself, not anyone else, and to be the best person God wants you to be.
