Quote she tries to live by: "So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity." Colossians 3:12-14
Miss Baker works to encourage her students to not just be readers, but actual lovers of literature. She always wanted to become a teacher because she wants to share her love of reading with her students. In fact, the greatest joy she receives from teaching is when her students are enjoying learning about English and really understanding the lesson she is teaching. In her free time she is, of course, enjoying a good book! Miss Baker’s favorite saint is Saint Thérèse the Little Flower because of her "little way" in which she explained how little deeds done in great love of God lead us to heaven.
