If you are interested in learning more about SJNCS and determining if we might be the right fit for your family, sign up here for one of our Tours on Tuesday. Held the second Tuesday of every month, these tours last about 45 minutes and include a tour of the school, registration information and a discussion with our principal, Kyla Hockley. While viewing our website may help answer some of your questions, we know that nothing is more informative than a one-on-one conversation.
If you are interested in starting this conversation or need to arrange a private tour, please contact Janice Wolfe, Director of Admissions, at [email protected] or tell us about yourself by completing our inquiry form below.
We look forward to meeting you!

The program follows a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed by the Diocese of Harrisburg. The students develop spiritually, physically, socially and academically. Students entering our PreK program must be 4 years old as of September 1st of the academic year for which they are applying. Any child seeking admission to PK must be completely toilet trained.
Families are able to choose from three class options:
5 full days per week
5 half days per week
3 full days and 2 half days per week
Students entering our Kindergarten program must be 5 years old as of September 1st of the applied for academic year.
In addition to the requirements for students in all grades, a Kindergarent applicant will participate in a screening at the beginning of the year. This screening provides vital information for the teacher about the areas of strength and areas for growth for each student.
A shadow day is highly recommended for students after the initial parent meeting. This visit allows students to get a first-hand experience of our school community, while allowing the teachers to get a better sense of each student's unique strengths and interests.
Current (Tuition) v. New (Max Parental Contribution)
Beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, SJNCS is moving to a Cost to Educate Model to determine a parent's financial responsibility for their child's education. Instead of beginning with a "tuition" number, this model begins with the actual Cost to Educate a student with all applicable discounts applied to this amount. The final result is the parent's financial responsibility.
Affordable discounts include the Participation Discount, Catholic Discount, Multi-Student Discount & Financial Aid.
As an example:
2023-2024 | |
Cost to Educate | $7,700 |
Participation Deduction* | $2,000 |
Max Parental Contribution | $5,700 (same as 22-23 "Tuition") |
Catholic Discount | $1,000 |
Multi-Student Discount | As Applicable |
Financial Aid | Determined by Financial Assessment |
*To be eligible to receive the Participation Deduction, parents must:
1) Complete the Simple Tuition Solutions Assessment here.
